Salt Therapy

In Greek, ‘halos’ means salt. ‘Halochambers’ are where halotherapy, the therapeutic use of salt, takes place. These are human-made rooms for you to relax in. They are designed to mimic the feeling of being in natural salt mines deep in the earth’s crust. At Saltuary, you can expect that spending time in their beautiful halochambers will improve:

  • Respiratory processes:
Decreasing mucous congestion and allowing easier and more comfortable breathing.
  • Skin conditions:
Providing anti-inflammatory effects to decrease skin irritation, infection and inflammation.
  • Mood and stress levels:
The salt rooms at Saltuary are kept clean, ambient, and rich in negative ions; providing a healthy environment for mental and physical restoration.

Float Therapy

The practice of floating is known to induce a state of blissful relaxation. Did you know that just one hour of floating has the restorative power of 4 hours of sleep? You will feel weightless in 25cm of sterile water containing a salt solution that leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated. If you’re worried about the possibility of sinking, you need not – the water is saturated with salt content. Whilst floating, you can expect:

  • Internal balance
Your body to balance and heal internally, as the feeling of being gravity-free rests your senses.
  • Heart rate relaxation
Your blood pressure and heart rate to relax.
  • Less stress
Feelings of stress, anxiety, and jet lag to reduce. In the meantime, your concentration and creativity will increase.

Infrared Sauna

Whilst traditional saunas use humidity and steam to warm your body, infrared saunas warm your body directly. There is nothing harmful involved, just a gentle type of heat transmitted at a specific wavelength. When you start sweating, that’s when the magic starts to happen.

  • Fat burn and heart health:
As sweat production increases, your heart works more to circulate blood, mimicking the benefits of continuous exercise. Saunas help to maintain cardiovascular conditioning when you need to skip regular exercise due to illness or allowing injuries to heal.
  • Soothes aches and pains:
Saunas are helpful for stiffness and soreness, as well as musculoskeletal ailments like strains and sprains. The deep infrared heat dilates blood vessels, bringing nutrients to injured muscle and soft tissue sites, and removes metabolic wastes.
